Maria Parham Health Welcomes Dr. Rachel Anne DeSpenza to OB/GYN Team

Maria Parham Health is excited to announce the newest addition to our esteemed OB/GYN team, Dr. Rachel Anne DeSpenza. Dr. DeSpenza joins us following an impressive OB-GYN Residency at Yale New Haven Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut, where she served as Administrative Chief Resident.

Dr. DeSpenza earned her MD and Master of Health Science from the prestigious Yale School of Medicine. She completed her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of California, Santa Barbara, graduating with highest honors. Her academic and clinical excellence has been recognized through numerous awards, including the William U Gardner Memorial Student Research Fellowship, the Yale School of Medicine Medical Student Research Fellowship, and the ACOG CT Section Outstanding Student James F.X. Egan Award, among others.
