Location

Vance County is located in north central North Carolina and is halfway between New York and Florida. Three major highways, I-85, US 1 and US 158 intersect in Vance County.

Residing or working in Vance County offers many extras including excellent medical care, a full service YMCA, a 50,000-acre lake for recreation, a variety of housing choices and virtually no congestion. Local governmental leaders are progressive and pro-business which makes Vance County an excellent business location.

Recreation

Kerr Lake provides over 850 of shoreline in North Carolina and Virginia. Boating, fishing, skiing and camping are just some of the ways you can enjoy Kerr Lake. Throw in great golfing, hunting and two fantastic recreational organizations (Henderson Parks & Rec and the Family YMCA) and you may find yourself having a hard time deciding what to do next!
