Jean delivered both of her sons at Maria Parham, at the previous Chestnut Street location. Two of her grandchildren were also born at Maria Parham, where the hospital is currently located today. Jean noted, “the kindness of everybody” is what stands out the most to her, regarding the services she’s received at MPH.  

Additionally, Jean has also been a patient of the Maria Parham Cancer Center, where she courageously underwent 31 radiation treatments for breast cancer.  

“I’ve been very pleased; everyone has been so kind,” Jean recalls of her experience as a patient at Maria Parham.
